Small Comforts CPA was founded on a simple belief: that individuals and small business owners deserve the same quality of service and technical expertise that larger institutional clients receive from big firms.
Most CPA firms scale by adding complexity: more staff, more overhead, more clients handed off to people who’ve never spoken with them. We went the other direction. A deliberately small practice means that whoever reaches out is working with the same person, every time, across every engagement.
The background here includes over a decade of experience, including years managing complex work at a national firm, with clients ranging from billion-dollar energy suppliers to small architecture firms. That experience informs the work on every small return and every new business engagement.
The practice runs fully remote. We work with clients across all 50 states through a secure client portal. No office visits, no paperwork, no geographic restrictions. Just the work, done carefully, by someone who knows your situation.
